For years now the month of October has become synonymous with breast cancer awareness. Organizations like The American Cancer Society and The Susan B Komen Foundation have brought the fight against breast cancer to the forefront of many. Eagle Hardware Farm and Ranch has done its part as well as it has hosted various events and special Saturdays through the years. This year is no different. This year Eagle Hardware is proud to host the Hunt County Regional Hospital’s Mobile Mammogram unit. The mobile unit is designed and equipped to offer mammograms affordably and, when possible, free. If you are 40 years or older and it has been more than a year since your last exam, November 1 is for you. Please call the store today and find out more and get signed up today.
Too, as something special and unique during this month of breast cancer awareness, Eagle Hardware has had the opportunity to procure one of the Limited Editions of the Pink Yeti Cooler (35 gallon Roadie). And we are doing something fun with it. For every $5 dollars donated to the American Cancer Society, your name will be entered in to call the cooler your own! So during the entire month of October, one can donate as many “chances” as one wishes. Then the Saturday the mobile mammogram unit is at Eagle Hardware, the winner will be announced. November 1st will be a day worth a trip to the store. Snacks, fun and freebies all to heighten awareness to breast cancer will be a part of that Saturday. Make your plans now to be there.
